Additionally, the LUX control knob allows for adjusting the brightness sensitivity. The LUX setting determines when the light will turn on: if the ambient brightness is higher than the set value, it's considered "daytime" and the light will not activate; if the brightness is lower than the set value, it's defined as "night," and the light will turn on. The recommended LUX setting is the midpoint on the dial. Setting the LUX too high will cause the light to remain on constantly, while a low LUX setting may result in the light flashing.
